Studio Brussel - De Zwaarste Lijst 2010
Yesterday Studio Brussel delighted all the metal fans by airing their second edition of "De Zwaarste Lijst", quite literally translated "the heaviest list".
For those who are not in the know, it's a list of the 70 most popular metal tracks, chosen by the listeners themselves, and presented by stand-up comedian Alex Agnew.
Since I had to listen until the end at 12 o'clock myself in order to learn who ended up being number one, I failed to post the list yesterday - so to make amends, here is the complete list:

Quite an impressive list - and apparently Belgium likes Metallica a lot - no less than ten of their tracks are mentioned in the list! Iron Maiden, as well as AC/DC are also very popular, with each band occuring five times. We do love our classics!
Of course I cannot close this article without mentioning our Belgian pride Channel Zero, who are mentioned thrice in this metal list - Black Fuel being their highest ranking song (and what a song!).
Sadly enough, we'll have to wait a full year for the next edition... I can only hope they'll do a full 100 next time!
